How this works: 3 full size bottles of wine (red, white, rose') will be shipped to you in advance; and then, via Zoom, we will have a group meeting where Jon Affonso, the Winemaker at Durst Winery will be standing in their tasting room. Jon will be hosting the Virtual Tasting personally and will discuss the wines in as much or as little detail as the group desires. He can discuss the regional terroir, the vineyards associated with the fruit, the techniques used to make the wines, also share his perception of the wines. He will also send along food pairings before the event. Any and all of the topics related to wine can be touched upon. The goal at Durst Winery is to recreate the tasting room experience as much as possible from anywhere.
